- Learn theories behind working and repairing lameness issues.
- Learn how to trim the feet to achieve the best overall balance of the horse.
- Learn the techniques and tips to better utilize your tools.
- Learn how to maintain your tools.
- Learn how to photograph, analyze and critique your own work.
- Learn how to obtain valuable information from radiographs of the feet.
- Learn how to detect dental, chiropractic, cranial-sacral and massage (muscular) issues and how they affect the overall horse.
- Learn a few basics about saddle and tack fitting and how they affect the overall horse.
- Learn how to read and safely handle difficult horses.
- Learn the principles behind shoes and shoeing techniques (even if you don’t intend to learn how to shoe.)
- Learn techniques and tips for pulling shoes.
- Learn principles and techniques for developing recovery or rehabilitation protocols.
- Learn how to utilize the environment provided--regardless of geographical location--to effectively develop a treatment or recovery plan.
