By taking what I have learned from the people who influenced me throughout the years, I have strived to take what they taught me to a new level. In some cases, I have tried to reverse-engineer the ideas and the procedures and make things easier or more simplified. I don’t like complicated procedures if simple procedures will more than adequately fit the bill.
My goal has been to incorporate much of the sound logic I learned in shoeing school with the PBM philosophy. Combine as much information as possible from the veterinary world (both practical and research), dentistry, chiropractic, massage, nutritional, immunology, saddle/tack fitting aspects of the equine world, and then incorporate holistic therapies such as Cranial Sacral, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Reiki and others. Become a focal point for each horse owner, so that we may help each and every horse, whether they are already (so-called) sound, intermittently lame or fully lame; and devise a plan to get the horse balanced, comfortable and sound.
